Parent Teacher Night

by

Hi all readers. We have the girls first “Parent Teacher Info Night” and I am not sure what questions to ask the teachers. Here is what I have so far:

  • How is each child going? By this, I mean, are they finding the work o.k, is there something that they are more skilled at than other tasks?
  • If they are not doing well in one area, what is it? This way we can improve on it
  • Has either child shown a strong interest in any area, and if so, what is it?

Other than the standard, are they getting along with other kids and enjoying it, What else should we ask them? The husband is keen to come along also and to find out more about the school and how the girls are doing.

We are still new to this schooling business and wanted to ask  your thoughts, What should we be asking the teachers? Send in your questions we should ask the girls teachers and remember to vote for us for Best Australian Blog.

If my friendship with a mum to twins (1 boy &1girl) count, tomorrow your main concerns will be to find out :
    1. Do both of them stick together all the time, is this a good thing. what do the teachers think about it? whether or not you agree with them ?them being identical , should they be put to work in different/ same groups/desks etc.

as far as your questions above go, i know what the teachers will reply: There is nothing to worry, everything is going well & we have noticed they more or less like doing similar activities , dont worry we will cater around their needs (standard reply)

    good luck

Hi, I have a bit of time before the parent teacher night happens. I have been asked to compile my questions and give it to the teachers before the day. So now thinking of them is the hard part. Thanks and I do agree that you have a point about them being together all the time. I feel that they should be doing different things. This is harder to do, as they are so close. Thanks for your comment. Suzanne.
