Mother’s Day Giveaway – Event Cinemas

by

Going to the movies is one of my favourite things to do.

I love watching the picture on the BIG screen, snacking on popcorn and having some much needed time out.

Of course it is nice to have a family movie day out, but nothing beats going with a friend to watch a film you have been desperate to see.

A girls night out is a great idea. Take your double pass and meet up with some mates and have a fun night out.

Event Cinemas have some fab films for mum

Take mum to a whole day out at the movies this Mother’s Day, the 13th of May.

You will see the following films:

TULLY
From the people who brought you Juno, witness Academy Award® winner Charlize Theron in the new comedy, Tully. A mother of three who is gifted a night nanny by her brother, is hesitant to the extravagance at first, although comes to form a unique bond with the thoughtful, surprising and sometimes challenging young nanny named Tully.

MAMMA MIA SING-ALONG
You’ve seen it, you loved it and you just can’t get enough of ABBA’s classic hits… here’s your chance to sing-along once more to the original Mamma Mia film. Screening only this Mother’s Day!

LIFE OF THE PARTY
When her husband suddenly dumps her, dedicated housewife Deanna (Melissa McCarthy) turns regret into re-set by going back to college … landing in the same class and school as her daughter, who’s not entirely sold on the idea. Plunging headlong into the campus experience, the increasingly outspoken Deanna—now Dee Rock—embraces freedom, fun and frat boys on her own terms, finding her true self in a senior year no one ever expected.

    Mummy needs a break,
    That’s something I never take!
    Always feeding hungry tums,
    Giving cuddles and changing bums!
    Soothing meltdowns, cleaning too,
Piles of washing to get through…
    Constantly tripping over toys,
That’s just life with my boys!
One with special needs to care,
No family close to be there,
A movie would much needed time out,
A break from reality without a doubt! 😉

Mum definitely deserves this double pass so that we can have a great cinematic bonding time especially on Mother’s Day with Mamma Mia Sing-Along. She would be ecstatic since she loves ABBA so much! Mamma Mia, Here We Go Again!

Mum is a ‘grand old movie buff’, but her pensioner’s budget rarely extends to the ‘modern cinematic experience’! Films are her favourite pass-time, though usually consumed on her ancient 23 inch TV (with built-in DVD player, as she is quick to remind!), and long after their original release dates. With this double pass, she might even take me as her ‘plus one’ to see the new Avengers movie (though more likely my husband, who she definitely likes better!)… she’s quite a hip granny who loves her some superhero action!

My mum recently had a knee reconstruction and is just starting to get out and about and mobile. A trip to the movies (which she loves!) would get her out of the house and allow her time to rest her sore leg during the outing.

My mum deserves a double pass, as all her life she has looked after us six kids and not once put herself first. She never buys herself anything, all money goes towards looking after her kids. She truly deserves something for herself for once.

My mum is special because she has shown me how to be a mother myself. She has stood up for me through the good and the bad and never judged me. She has loved me more than I could describe. Most importantly she is the world’s best grandma to my two children and always puts them first! She is truly an amazing mother

There’s so many mum’s out there that deserve this break, and like them I feel it would be great. We cook, we clean, we have many sleepless nights, we raise our bundles to grow up just right. Whom ever wins this precious prize will enjoy their night out, that’s no surprise, and for those who don’t win, it’s not the end, as we still have our little darlings to tend.
